NEW UPDATE: Statement From Our Elders
The Elders of the New Union Church of Christ announced the following decisions:
The elders ask that each member worship in their own home on Sunday, March 22 until further notice. The elders and Charles will be at the church building these two Sundays mornings from 9:30 to 11:30 (our regular worship time). We will be stationed at the doors under the drive-thru where you may drive-thru. Three items will be available to facilitate your worship service:
1 - Pick up sterile self-contained communion cups to partake communion in your home worship service. Each sealed package contains a wafer and grape juice for observing the Lord’s Supper. Pick-up enough packages for your family. You might want to pick-up enough units for the following Sunday if you so desire.
a - For individuals who are shut-in or unable to get out call one of the elders and we will be happy to deliver any of these items to you prior to Sunday morning.
2 - Pick-up a cassette tape (audio) or DVD containing sound sermons to use for a lesson in your worship. Additionally, those with internet service have a wide variety of options:
a- Lessons by Charles Williams recorded at New Union: available on the New Union Church of Christ Facebook Site or on the New Union Web Site
b- Lessons on the radio by Charles Williams. Radio Station 1320 AM WMSR 8:30 Sunday Morning. Thought of the Day also on WMSR at 6 am, 12 pm, and 3 pm.

3 - A collection plate will be available for those who wish to drop off their contribution.
Note: All other services, meals, and youth activities remain canceled until further notice.
If any of you have any needs that we can assist you with during this unusual time, please let us know. As God’s people at New Union let us continue to worship, pray, and serve.
WHAT MUST I DO TO BE SAVED?
Hear the Gospel - Romans 10:17 - So then faith [comes] by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
Believe the Gospel - Mark 16:16 - "He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned."
Repent of Sins - Acts 2:38 - Then Peter said to them, "Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit."
Confess Christ - Romans 10:10 - For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
Be Baptized for the Remission of Sins - (Immersed)
I Peter 3:21 - There is also an anti-type which now saves us — baptism (not the removal of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God), through the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Matthew 28:19 - “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.
Galatians 3:27 - For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ.
Be Faithful Unto Death
Revelations 2:10 - Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life.
II Timothy 4:7,8 I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. 8 Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing.
